The Annual function of New Era Public School, Primary Wing, was held on 21st and 22nd October. It was a spectrum of varied talents as the stage sparkled with little performers. The tabla recital brought forth our little maestros who played the instrument confidently and in rhythm. The choir sang melodiously on both the days.
Speaking on the occasion the Founder Principal and Director, Mrs. Usha Chopra shared her childhood memories with the parents. She urged them to spend time with their family so as to strengthen ties and build the foundation of a happy family.
The Principal, Mrs. Vandana Chawla stressed on the importance of participation in group activities. The Principal said that the actual process of being on stage, unleashes a force in children which is full of hope and creative expression and helps the children take gigantic leaps of imagination.
The students of classes III and IV presented Panchatantra which was an amalgamation of wit and values. The play was a wonderful display of dance and drama, bringing to life sheer vibrance on stage.
We are the world, presented on Day 2 by the students of classed IV and V, showcased the variety of customs and traditions followed by people all over the world. The Chief Guest on the occasion was Mrs. Bubbles Sabharwal, one of the leading theatre and stage personalities of Delhi. The play was colourful and interesting with beautiful music and dances. Dressed up in various hues the children presented a mesmerizing show which captivated the spectators and left them spellbound. The students put up a show displaying harmony and unity among people.
