New Era Public School organised the first R.L. Chopra Memorial football tournament. Twelve leading schools from all over Delhi participated in this sporting spectacle. At the end of three days of exhilarating preliminary rounds, the finals was played between NEPS Mayapuri and Sanskriti School, Chanakyapuri on 3rd February,2018. Results of the event are:

1st Position: NEPS, Mayapuri

2nd Position: Sanskriti School, Chanakyapuri

3rd Position: Venkateshwar International School, Dwarka

The Founder Principal and Director Mrs. Usha Chopra and the Principal Mrs. Vandana Chawla blessed the students and encouraged them to keep alive their sporting spirit and excel in life.

    New Era Public School, Mayapuri organized an environment based event 'ECO FEST 2018' with the theme 'The Modern Technology Owes Ecology An Apology'.

    There was a colourful display of science projects highlighting the creativity of the innovative minds. Live workshops on composting, paper mache, bio-plastic manufacturing, ink making were organised.

    Many enthusiastic students were engaged in on-the-spot slogan writing and poster designing activities.The special attraction of the day was the 'best out of waste' stall and  a Pottery and terracotta workshop where students made their own pottery items and enjoyed it to the fullest. Another special invitee to event were Sulabh International who showcased the 'Swatch Bharat' programme and a model of bio gas plant.Special Organic Food stalls were put up to encourage healthy life style. Organic food producers showcased their products illuminating the benefits of organic foods.

    Our school Director, Mrs. Usha Chopra visited the Solar Panels at the rooftop under the special Eco Tour organised by the school. Mrs. Chopra also visited various science events and appreciated the work done by the students. Our school Principal, Mrs. Vandana Chawla also visited the stalls and motivated the students to do even better. Seven schools and many parents visited the fest and appreciated the work done by the students.
