68th Republic Day Celebration

New Era Public School, Mayapuri celebrated India’s 68th Republic Day on 25th January 2017. Our Director, Mrs. Usha Chopra and our Principal, Mrs. Vandana Chawla, graced the special assembly with their presence.

The Republic Day celebration began with the choir students singing a prayer song in their soothing voice. The school orchestra evoked a feeling of patriotism through their outstanding performance on stage. The students of primary wing won everybody’s hearts through their dance performance depicting the various cultures of India, followed by their melodious song sung by the choir. The young children of primary wing were trained for the march past. The senior wing students made a musical presentation depicting the republic day parade which had elements of march past, music, dance and drama.

The Director, Mrs. Usha Chopra addressed the students and motivated them to watch the republic day parade on 26th January. On the occasion of National Voter’s Day, pledge was taken by the entire school. Followed by that, the Principal appreciated the effort taken by every teacher and student to present the special assembly.

It was a day of love and respect for the country. The assembly came to an end with the singing of our National Anthem that was sung with great pride and honour by everyone. 


    Farewell of Class XII

    FAREWELL CLASS XII (2016-17)

    Change is an inevitable part of our lives. Time being the most constant one takes us through a journey filled with various milestones. It was that time of the year when we bid farewell to the outgoing class XII batch with mixed emotions of happiness and nostalgia. It was a grand display of pomp and show where class XII students exhibited a vibrant show of colours through their attire.

    To mark the beginning of this auspicious day, a havan was heldin the auditorium to invoke the divine blessings and pray for success. The Director, Mrs Chopra blessed the outgoing batch and wished them luck.  The principal Mrs Chawla, addressed the students by providing valuable suggestions and foresight for future.

    It was followed by a cultural programme by class XI students. They presented a lively medley of dances and songs .An AV presentation depicted the precious moments captured during the year. The most awaited time of the day was the announcement of MR and MISS New Era. Thoughtful titles were framed by teachers for all the students.

    A special wall presented by Pearl Academy proved to be an attractive backdrop for photography among students as they captured their fleeting memories through the lense. Later the sumptuous lunch was served and relished by all.
