The Dream Project of Mr. R.L. Chopra and Mrs. Usha Chopra came into existence in one room, in the year 1960. The beginnings were modest, the goals were big. The aim was to design an institution which would in future become a Beacon for Excellence in Education.

50 years on, as we look back, we are inspired yet again by the success story of a couple who dared to dream and work towards fulfilling that “vision” of an institution which has moulded thousands of lives and will continue to do so.

Value Education

True Education moves beyond the confines of academics and extra-curricular activities. It aims to help a student develop emotionally and spiritually.

Value Education has been incorporated in the curriculum to instill the time tested values in children to ensure that in their process of growing up, they learn to be honest, compassionate, truthful, sincere and a well-balanced individual.

Event: The Investiture Ceremony

27 January was a special day for the new Student Council as they were handed over the baton by the outgoing Council. The preparations for the Day itself had begun two months ago when the hopefuls desirous of wearing the badges, filled the nomination forms. Each form was scrutinized carefully and the achievements, strengths, capabilities of each candidate were discussed by teachers at length.

Event: The Honours Ceremony

Every year, as the academic session draws to a close it is time to say good bye to class XII. The Honours Ceremony is organized to award them for their proficiency in Academics and Co-curricular Activities. It is also an opportunity to appreciate and applaud their leadership qualities, their sincerity towards the assigned duties and their regularity in work. This year the Honours Ceremony was held on 27th January 2012.
