12th R.L. Chopra Memorial Creative Writing Competition
12th R.L.Chopra Memorial Creative Writing Competition was organized
by New Era Public School, Mayapuri on 21st July, 2018. This literary
event was instituted in the memory of Late Shri R.L.Chopra, the founder
chairman of New Era Public School. Mr. Chopra, an avid reader himself, was of
the firm belief that reading leads to refinement and enrichment.
This one day literary festival witnessed an overwhelming
participation of 40 schools. The occasion was graced by the dynamic Director Mrs. Usha
Chopra, who welcomed all the participants and the charismatic Principal Mrs.
Vandana Chawla, who is always a source of inspiration.

Daughters by Manju Kapur . It presents a saga which successfully treads
through a complex terrain of family, society and relationships. Manju Kapoor has
sought a fresh approach in defining the breeding of social change by paintings

Alka Rai, a trainer with Headword Publication and Anukta Ghosh editor with Scholastics,
India judged the Book Discussion Round in English. Anushka of Bal Bharati
Public School, Noida Khushi Basin of Lancer's Convent School, Rohini and Isha Sharma of KIIT World School bagged
the First, Second and Third prizes respectively.
