Diwali- Special Assembly

 Diwali, the festival of lights

tells us about love, care, sacrifice and friendship

and brightens up the darkest nights.

A solemn promise that no crackers will be burst this year

Has made this pollution free Diwali

Beautiful, healthy and bright

The festival of lights was celebrated on the 17th of October in the Primary Wing. Children dressed up in colourful costumes according to their roles as scenes from the great epic ‘Ramayana’ unfolded on stage. Students talked about the significance of the festival and sang ‘’Chaupais’ in praise of Lord Ram.

The highlight of the programme was a dance drama performed by class V that brought alive the story of the Ramayana. Our Honourable Director Mrs Usha Chopra and our Respected Principal, Mrs Vandana Chawla, graced the occasion. They encouraged the students not to burn crackers to ensure a pollution free Diwali. They also appreciated the efforts made by the students who performed on stage and wished everyone a happy and safe Diwali.
