Multi Purpose Halls

There are two multipurpose halls.
The Multipurpose Hall in the senior wing is spacious, air-conditioned and is the venue for a myriad of events, including the grand Annual Day, prestigious prize-giving ceremonies, and a plethora of inter-school competitions. With a capacity of 800, the hall equipped with state-of-the-art stage lighting and immersive surround sound serves as the stage for all major inter-house and intra-school functions. This prestigious venue has hosted luminaries, inspired students through captivating SPIC MACAY performances and provided a platform for budding talents during vibrant celebrations and Annual Day extravaganzas.
The primary wing also boasts of a similar multipurpose hall. With a capacity of 300, this hall regularly hosts events like defense workshops, CBSE capacity-building sessions and inter-school/inter-house competitions.

Libraries

New Era Leadership fosters a love for language and literature from a tender age. Encouraging avid reading and participation in debates and public speaking, the school's libraries play a pivotal role in igniting young minds. The primary wing library nurtures independent reading, while the senior wing library, housing over 10,000 books, including magazines, periodicals, journals, biographies, science fiction, reference books, dictionaries, and scientific research materials, fosters an insatiable appetite for knowledge. These spacious, air-conditioned, and computerized libraries and the school's ethos, create an inspiring learning environment.

Laboratories

The school has nine well-equipped laboratories. We have dedicated Physics, Chemistry, and Biology labs in the senior wing to provide hands-on learning experiences. The ATL lab (Atal Tinkering Laboratory) sparks curiosity, creativity, and imagination, nurturing skills like design thinking, computational thinking, adaptive learning, and physical computing. The Information Technology (IT) department offers three computer labs: one in the primary wing for classes I-V and two in the senior wing. The school also boasts of well-equipped labs with cutting-edge hardware, high-speed internet, and updated software to meet the evolving needs of students, teachers, and the dynamic field of Information Technology. We have one Fashion Studies Lab that offers a well-rounded curriculum focused on teaching foundational skills of fashion. The students can not only explore and experiment various aspects of fashion designing but also acquire hands-on skills on operation of sewing machines and implementing their creativity on different fabrics. The psychology lab is designed to study human behavior, emotions, and cognitive processes. It consists of psychological tests like Raven’s Progressive Matrices, Adjustment Inventory for School Students, etc. Apparatus like Müller-Lyer illusion, Mirror drawing apparatus are available in the lab for assessment of various psychological attributes. The lab is designed to foster a scientific approach towards understanding human mind and behaviors.

Science Park

The innovative Science Park at New Era is an outdoor classroom that fosters a scientific mindset. By showcasing the principles of Mechanics, Optics, Meteorology, Chemistry, Biology, and Applied Science in practical terms, the park encourages young minds to explore "How Things Work," sparking curiosity and imagination.

 

Audio-Visual Rooms

New Era has two air-conditioned Audio-Visual rooms, equipped with the latest teaching aids, including electronic whiteboards/display boards with Inter-Write software, provide immersive multimedia learning experiences. Inspired by these facilities, New Era hosts annual IT competitions, inviting participants from different schools to showcase their talents in movie making, interviewing, audio editing, still photography, and public speaking. The AV rooms encourage creative thinking and exploration in filmmaking and art and are also used for various workshops.

 

Sports Facilities

New Era nurtures young athletes by providing state-of-the-art facilities. The school boasts of full-sized basketball and volleyball courts, dedicated areas for Martial Arts (Tae-Kwon-Do) and Yoga, two indoor badminton courts with professional-grade flooring, and a table tennis court with up to 8 tables. The school's sports curriculum with a focus on cricket and football ensures a holistic development of young athletes. We also have a dedicated indoor games room for students to play chess, carrom board and other board games.
