Mrs. Vandana Chawla
Mrs. Vandana Chawla, Principal, New Era Public School from January 2003 to July 2025, has been appointed as the Director (Innovations) w.e.f. 01st August 2025. She is the recipient of The Delhi State Teachers Award, 2016, for excellence in education. Mrs. Chawla is a ‘hands on’, progressive and dynamic innovator leading the school successfully into the 21st century. She is the product of a highly educated family and a highly enlightened environment. Having been a teacher at New Era Public School, Mayapuri, since 1982, she has embedded herself in the very fabric of the school. She has decades of excellence in teaching, guiding, planning, administration and management of students and staff. Approachable, witty, possessing a sense of humour, willing to see the other side, leading by example, Mrs. Chawla is a role model for the thousands of students under her stewardship. A true educationist, her mantra is “learning never stops”. Mrs. Chawla, embodies this ethos as she continues to upgrade her skills by attending seminars and multiple education programmes at the Harvard Principals Centre, IIMs and other organisations.
In her new role as the Director (Innovations) at New Era Public School, she leads the school dynamically into the 21st century.
