New Era Public School, Mayapuri hosted career fair - Pathfinder Take an Informed Decision on 19^th November, 2022 for students of grade VIII-XII. More than 250 students along with their parents participated in the event. Students of other schools also participated in the event. The purpose of the career fair was to create awareness of a wide range of careers and subsequently take an informed decision after high school. Seventeen eminent universities from India and abroad participated in the event to speak to students and parents about their area of expertise. All participating universities had put up their stalls and guided the students about scholarships, financial aid and various courses offered by them.

The main highlight of the event was special series of sessions by young professionals who talked about their achievements and the challenges faced by them to attain their goals in out of the box career choices. This included session by an Entrepreneur, Mr. Aayush Bhasin who gave tips on how to be a successful entrepreneur; Ms. Vidya Soundarajan, Director, Climate Change (WWF) spoke about Ecology Management; Mr. Raghav Mandava, a stand-up comic discussed about career in entertainment and production; Ms. Prachi Gangwani, a published author of Dear Men: Masculinity & Modern Love gave tips on how to become a published author; Mr. Sawan Gandhi, Fashion Designer discussed about career in Fashion Designing. Many university professionals also took sessions on topics such as CUET, Career in Journalism and Media, how to write university applications and essays, Career in medicine Specialization or generic education, Crypto currency Illusion or Investment, Entrepreneurship and Innovation etc. These sessions guided students to explore various career opportunities in different fields.

It was wonderful to witness the enthusiasm of all the students who belonged to different grades. The event turned out to be a grand success with participating students applauding the variety of informative sessions by the experts and the universities explaining their area of expertise.
