A painting and photography exhibition, Captures, was held at New Era Public School, Mayapuri, on 19th October 2024. The exhibition featured approximately 70 photographs captured by 35 talented students from classes VI to XII, along with a remarkable collection of 80 paintings and artworks created by budding artists. The event was honored by the presence of the Founder Principal and Director, Mrs. Usha Chopra, and the Principal, Mrs. Vandana Chawla, whose support added to the significance of the occasion. The exhibition showcased a diverse range of artistic expressions, including drawings, pencil shading, acrylic paintings, canvas paintings, and folk art. In photography, various genres were explored, such as monochrome, food, fashion, portrait, travel, event, sports, and wildlife photography. A standout attraction was a picture collage creatively arranged to spell "CAPTURES," demonstrating the students' artistic ingenuity. Additionally, the exhibition ventured into unconventional themes like industrial photography, offering a fresh and unique perspective. Parents, teachers, and visitors were captivated by the evocative imagery and the compelling narratives behind each photograph. The thoughtfully curated collection inspired deep reflection and dialogue, encouraging viewers to contemplate the intricate connection between art, society, and personal expression. This exhibition provided a valuable platform for students to showcase their artistic talents, fostering creativity, self-expression, and confidence. The remarkable display of talent left a lasting impression on parents, teachers, and guests, making the event a resounding success.
