An inter school group song competition was organized by New Era Public School, Mayapuri under The Delhi Schools' Literacy Project on 21st October 2024. Fourteen teams from various schools participated. The judges of the event were Mr Akram Khan (a renowned Tabla player), Dr Sukriti Mathur (a well-known singer and TV artist), and Dr Ritu Varshney Gupta (Assistant Professor, Hindi Department Kirorimal college). Dr Ritu Varma from Springdales School attended the competition as a coordinator of 'The Delhi Schools' Literacy Project'. The songs were based on the theme 'Literacy for Mutual Understanding and Peace'. The first position was bagged by Salwan Public School, and there was a tie at the second position between Manav Sthali and New Era Public School, Mayapuri. The self-composed songs presented by the schools were mesmerizing, and it had an impact on the audience and the judges. The judges appreciated all the performances and shared their valuable feedback to all teams.
