SYNC - The Annual Tech Fest 2024

NEW ERA PUBLIC SCHOOL, MAYAPURI SYNC 11.0 REPORT New Era Public School, Mayapuri organized 11th edition of the Annual Inter-School Tech Fest SYNC on 17th December 2024. SYNC was first organised in 2012 under the guidance and blessings of Mrs. Usha Chopra, the Founder Principal and Director of New Era Public School, Mayapuri. In a timespan of 11 years, SYNC has provided a platform to talented enthusiasts to express their technical and intellectual skills. The Founder Principal and Director Mrs. Usha Chopra and the Principal Mrs. Vandana Chawla graced the event and motivated the students to do their best. SYNC 2024 saw the participation of over 25 schools from all over Delhi and more than 200 participants from class IV onwards. The other events included DIGITAL STORY TELLING, COMIC STRIP, PHOTOGRAPHY, REEL MAKING, VALORANT EDITION, SYNC IN MOTION (Multimedia Presentation). The participants expressed their imagination and creativity in different sofwares. Each event was judged by a panel of esteemed judges, who were experts in their respective domains like film making ,content creation, photography and technology. The judges were Mr. Kshiteej Saini (Film Director and Post-Production specialist), Mr. Shiv Sarthak Sabhlok (Software Engineer), Mr. Himanshu Goyal (Team leader of EZVIDYA), Mr. Jaipreet Singh (AI Engineer), Mr. Devvrat Arya(Professional Photographer), Mr. Anuj Malhotra(Professionsl Cinematographer) and Mr. Akshay Arora (Professional Photographer) SYNC IN MOTION was for classes IX-XII. This event encouraged students to express their views through a well defined script and its transformation into a movie in a span of 8 minutes.The topic of the movie was “Perception of Reality”- Is what we see an actual reality, or is it just the version we choose to believe in? STORY SYNCERS was for classes IV and V. One team consisting of two students participated from each school. Each team had to use the software 'Microsoft Play Story3 ' and were asked to make a story line using animation. SYNC UP (Comic Strip) was for students of classes VI to VIII who exhibited their talent and creativity by designing a comic strip using Canva on the topic “DIGITAL FOOTPRINTS”. This was an online event. REEL IT IN SYNC was a first time wonder ,an event for reel making which we introduced this year for classes IX to XII. Participants were given the topic “SYNC-A Tale Tech Events (Promotional Reel of SYNC)“ which encouraged students to include humour, background with a message. We received an overwhelmingly positive response and appriciation from participating schools. The SYNC AND SNAP was a photography event, for students of classes IX-XII , wherein partcipants were asked to click photographs on various topics like vintage, proportions etc. The Valorant Edition (PC Gaming) was a gaming event, open to students of classes IX to XII, wherein prelims were conducted in online mode and final rounds were conducted in offilne mode. The teamwork and sportsmanship of all the participants was exhibited well. All the winners were felicitated on their respective venues.
