New Era Public School, Mayapuri hosted Rendezvous- The Language Fest 2022 on 20^th and 21^st October 2022. The two-day Language Fest gave students a platform to showcase their talents in various fields of language and literature. The events conducted were in English, Hindi and French and covered classes III to XII.

The first edition of Rendezvous was inaugurated by our Founder Principal and Director Mrs. Usha Chopra and our Principal Mrs. Vandana Chawla. In their addresses to the students both Mrs. Chopra and Mrs. Chawla emphasised on the nuances of language along with the learning that it offers. They wished students well for the competitions ahead.

The two-day festival saw a participation from 16 schools in various events. On day 1, the events held were Marioneta Story Marvel (The Art of Storytelling Using Puppets-English), Spell Bee (English), Kavi Sammelan (Hindi) and English Debates Multi-format (Qualifiers).

On day 2, the events conducted were Sort d’abeille (Spell Bee-French), Tête-à-tête (English), Act and Tell a Tale (English) and English Debates Multi-format (Semi-finals and Finals). Each event was judged by a panel of expert judges, experienced in their respective domains like publishing, theatre, academics etc.

The winners in each event were given trophies, books and certificates. The Fest was successful in drawing students from the leading schools of Delhi NCR and emphasising on various aspects of language. All the participants enjoyed themselves even as they competed for the coveted prizes.
