New Era Public School, Mayapuri, successfully hosted its Annual Career Fair, Pathfinder 5.0 – ‘Take an Informed Decision’, on 18th August 2026. The event brought together 26 leading universities and educational institutions, providing students with a comprehensive platform to explore diverse courses, emerging career pathways and higher education opportunities. Adding to the vibrancy of the event, more than 120 students from five different schools also participated, making Pathfinder 5.0 an enriching and collaborative experience beyond the school community. The University Exhibition offered students of Grades IX–XII an opportunity to interact directly with university representatives, explore courses and programmes, and seek information about admissions, scholarships, eligibility criteria and future career prospects. The interactive exhibits encouraged students to ask questions and explore options aligned with their interests, abilities and aspirations. A series of insightful expert-led sessions further enriched the experience. Mr. Vineet Vaidya, Mechanical Engineer & Career Counsellor, conducted the session on ‘Alternative Careers with Special Subject Combinations’, specially curated for CWSN, highlighting diverse possibilities beyond conventional career pathways. Mr. Nikhil Pandey, Assistant Professor, School of Media and Mass Communication, Bennett university shared valuable insights into ‘Media and Journalism’, while Mr. Abhay Ojha, Director – Admissions and Outreach – Law, OP Jindal Global university explored the opportunities and pathways associated with ‘Law as a Career’. The sessions continued with ‘Mathematics and AI’, led by Dr. Charu Sharma, Assistant Professor, Mathematics, Shiv Nadar University followed by ‘Career Scope in Health Sciences & Medical Beyond MBBS’, presented by Mr. Krishna Tripathy, Manager – Outreach & Educational Partnership, UPES University. Ms. Mrigakshi Choudhary, Associate Professor, IMS DIA engaged students through a session on ‘Design Thinking’. The final session, ‘The Future of Work – Will a machine take your job, or hand you a better one?’, conducted by Mr. Abhinandan Kashyap, Head – Admissions, encouraged students to reflect on the rapidly changing world of work and the growing influence of technology and Artificial Intelligence on future careers. The participation of students from five other schools added another meaningful dimension to the fair, encouraging interaction and exchange of ideas and providing wider exposure to career opportunities. The event received an overwhelming and appreciative response from students, visiting schools, educators and participating universities, who appreciated the relevance, diversity and quality of the opportunities presented. Pathfinder 5.0 was a resounding success, reaffirming New Era Public School’s commitment to providing students with meaningful career exposure and empowering them to make informed, confident and future-ready choices about their academic and professional journeys.
