SYNC 2022

New Era Public School organized the 9^th edition of the Annual Inter-School Tech Fest SYNC on 18^th November 2022.  SYNC was started in 2012 under the guidance and blessings of Mrs. Usha Chopra, the Founder Principal and Director of New Era Public School, Mayapuri. In a timespan of 10 years, SYNC has provided a platform to a group of talented enthusiasts to express their technical and intellectual skills. The Founder Principal and Director Mrs. Usha Chopra and the Principal Mrs. Vandana Chawla graced the event and motivated the students to do their best. Taking forward the legacy this year, the event “Multimedia Presentation” focused on the topic –

SYNC 2022 saw the participation of schools of Delhi/NCR and more than 130+ participants from class IV onwards. The other events included LETS ANIMATE, XTREME PURSUIT, LOGICAL MINDS and CREATECH. The participants were not only able to express their imagination and creativity in Web Designing but also showcased their skills in the Scratch Event.

Each event was judged by esteemed judges, who were experts in their domain like content creation, programming, anchoring and technology.

Let’s Animate Event was for classes IV and V. One team consisting of two students participated from each school. Each team had to use the software 'Scratch ' and were asked to make a story line using animation. The event was judged by Dr. Pooja Saigal(P.hD CS,NET(CS),MCA,BCA).

In the Createch Event of Web Designing, the students of classes IX to XI exhibited their talent and creativity by designing a website on the theme ‘Healthy Lifestyle’ using HTML, CSS or JavaScript. The event was judged by Mr. Shiv Sarthak Sabhlok(Software Developer ,Certified Ethical Hacker).

Logical Minds was an event based on Python Programming. It was meant for classes IX to XII.  Participants were given questions to crack with an increase in difficulty levels followed by a window question for fetching bonus points. The event was judged by Mr. Sumeidh Goel (Executive –Infrastructure and Cyber Security Internal Audit) on the basis of creativity, originality and appropriate use of the software.

The Xtreme Pursuit, Gaming Event was open to students of classes IX to XII, wherein all the young gaming enthusiasts from each school participated in three gaming rounds to beat their opponents in the game FIFA.

The teamwork and sportsmanship of all the participants were on display. All the winners were felicitated at their respective event venues. With a lot of vigour and enthusiasm, SYNC 2022 concluded with New Era Public School, Mayapuri winning the second position in Multimedia contest and first in Gaming.
