Annual Commerce Fest - Vanijya 2023
The fourth edition of our Annual Commerce Fest- Vanijya was organised at New Era Public School, Mayapuri on the 28th of July, 2023. The day saw several competitions organised by the Science and the Maths departments as well. The air was charged with excitement as many enthusiastic participants from Delhi NCR region walked in to prove that they were the best team. The volunteers escorted them to the Junior Auditorium for the formal inauguration of ceremonies by the Principal of the school, Mrs Vandana Chawla. A melodious Saraswati Vandana was followed by a captivating kathak performance to invoke God’s blessings.
Over 80 young talented participants battled their way through to be the Big Bull on the fluctuating share market and the race to be the best Silent Salesman. Both the events were thoroughly enjoyed by the teams. The judges for the event on best packaging of the given product were Mr R K Mahajan- a renowned author and Ms Aditi Arora, an experienced faculty of Business Studies. After a long discussion the two judges were ready to pronounce judgement.
The first prize was bagged by Mount St Mary’s School, Delhi Cantt and the second place went to Oxford Senior Secondary School, Vikaspuri. In the Big Bull the toppers with maximum profit in the stock market were the boys from New Era Public School, Mayapuri and the second prize went to DPS, Mathura Road.
The Rolling Trophy for the best overall performance in both the events was bagged by Bal Bharati Public School, Pitampura. Vanijya 23 was a great celebration that combined business acumen and a spirit of camaraderie.
