SPIC MACAY Enchants New Era Public School with Classical Delights.

New Era Public School, Mayapuri, witnessed a cultural immersion last week as SPIC MACAY, the society for the promotions Indian classical arts, presented two captivating performances here on January 30th, the school auditorium resonated with the grace and beauty of Odissi as renowned dancer Geeta Mahalik took the stage, and on 31st January, Ustaad Daud Khan Sadozai, a maestro of the Rabaab, enthralled the students and faculty with his soul-stirring renditions.

Geeta Mahalik's performance transported the audience to the rich cultural heritage of Odisha. Her performance, powerful yet poised, embodied the essence of this ancient dance form. She captivated the young minds with her storytelling ability, effortlessly transitioning between various characters and emotions. The rhythmic clanging of the ghungroos and the melodious tunes of the accompanying orchestra added to the mesmerizing atmosphere.

Following the captivating dance performance, Ustad Daud Khan Sadozai's Rabaab recital transported the audience to a different realm. The Rabaab, known for its melancholic and introspective sound, filled the auditorium with its unique resonance. Ustad Sadozai's masterful piece left the students spellbound.
