WORLD DANCE DAY
Our school proudly celebrated World Dance Day by hosting an extraordinary performance by acclaimed dancers Guru Vanashree Rao and Sharen Lowen. This event was a tribute to the universal language of dance, highlighting its beauty, diversity, and emotional resonance. It was a part of the school’s association with SPICMACAY. Guru Vanashree Rao and her senior disciple, Washim Raja, mesmerized the audience with their Kuchipudi performance, showcasing intricate footwork, expressive gestures, and captivating storytelling. Sharen Lowen’s Odissi, along with her disciple Vishwanath Mangaraj, was a masterclass in elegance and poise, with fluid movements, precise technique, and nuanced expressions that left the audience spellbound. This event was a celebration of dance’s power to unite, inspire, and uplift. Our students and faculty were treated to a rare opportunity to experience the richness of Indian classical dance forms. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Guru Vanashree Rao, Washim Raja, and Sharen Lowen for sharing their passion and expertise with our school community.
