Pathfinder 4.0 – ‘Take an Informed Decision’

New Era Public School, Mayapuri, successfully hosted its Annual Career Fair, Pathfinder 4.0 – ‘Take an Informed Decision’, on the 29th and 30th of August 2025. The fair brought together thirty renowned universities from India and abroad, including GD Goenka University, Bennett University, Shiv Nadar University, Thapar University, Whistling Woods International, Pearl Academy, Indian School of Hospitality, Ahmedabad University, O.P. Jindal Global University, Western Sydney University, and Amity University. Students from NEPS Dwarka, Springdales School Dhaula Kuan, GBSSS Hari Nagar, and Goodley Public School also joined the event, making it more collaborative and engaging. Day One showcased a University Exhibition, where students interacted with university representatives, explored courses, admission processes, scholarships, and gained valuable guidance on career prospects. Day Two combined the exhibition with expert-led sessions that provided deeper career insights. Parents were also invited on this day to accompany their wards, which enriched the conversations and decision-making process. Notable sessions included “Becoming a Doctor/Scientist: Pathways, Challenges and Rewards” by alumnus Dr. Gunjan Sharma, Senior Medical Scientist, ICMR, “From Chartered Accountancy to Consultancy” by alumna Ms. Shrachi Jain, Management Consultant, YCP Auctus, “UPSC – From Aspirant to Administrator” by Ms. Grishma Goyal, IES Officer, and “Cyber Security and Ethical Hacking” by Mr. Sumeidh Goel, Cyber Security Expert. Other engaging talks included “Skills of the Future: Transcending Education in 2030” by Ms. Nishi Mishra, Amity University, “Design for Innovation” by Prof. Sanya Donald Prakash, Mahindra University, “Careers with Psychology” by Dr. Divya Bhatia, O.P. Jindal Global University, and “Alternate Careers with Special Subject Combinations” by Mr. Vineet Vidhya, Career Mentor. These sessions broadened perspectives by linking classroom learning to emerging global opportunities and personal success stories. The event received an overwhelming response from students and parents. The presence of alumni as speakers added a personal touch, inspiring learners to dream big and pursue their passions. Parents appreciated the opportunity to interact directly with university representatives, which helped them gain clarity about admissions, scholarships, and career pathways. Pathfinder 4.0 was a resounding success, opening new avenues of exploration and reinforcing the school’s vision of guiding its learners towards making thoughtful and confident career choices.
