The Annual Athletic Meet 2025–26 was celebrated with great enthusiasm and sportsman spirit at New Era Public School, Mayapuri. The event aimed at promoting physical fitness, discipline, teamwork, and healthy competition among students. The programme began with the Opening Ceremony, followed by a warm welcome of the dignitaries, parents, and staff members. The students presented an impressive Marching Contingent, showcasing discipline, unity, and confidence. This was followed by the Lighting of the Torch, symbolising the true spirit of sportsmanship and determination. The students then performed an energetic Aerobics display, which was highly appreciated by the audience. After this, Mrs Usha Chopra, the Founder Principal and Director of NEPS Mayapuri, addressed the gathering and encouraged students to participate actively in sports and maintain a healthy lifestyle. Next, a powerful Self-Defence performance was presented by the students, highlighting the importance of awareness, confidence, and safety. The gathering was then addressed by Mrs Vandana Chawla, Director Innovations, who motivated the students and appreciated the efforts of the school in organising the event. The programme continued with a calming and graceful Yoga performance, reflecting the importance of physical and mental well-being. This was followed by an address by Mr Rohit Chopra, Director of NEPS Dwarka, who praised the students for their participation and spirit. The Prize Distribution Ceremony was then held to honour the winners for their outstanding performance. Mrs Neerja Bhaskar Anand, Principal of NEPS Mayapuri, addressed the audience and congratulated the winners while encouraging all students to keep the spirit of sports alive. The event was further enriched by a vibrant Ghoomar dance, which added cultural charm to the celebration.
