On July 30, 2026, New Era Public School students visited the MCKS Food for the Hungry Foundation in Vasant Kunj, gaining insight into impactful social welfare initiatives. Founded in 2005, the foundation operates a high-capacity kitchen, scaling from 200 to 6,000 daily meals, along with the MCKS Vidya after-school education program. Students learned about the foundation’s five-month Hotel Management Course, which has provided 100% placement for over 120 EWS students in premier hotels. This experiential learning visit highlighted the NGO’s critical role in combating hunger and fostering community empowerment. The experience proved highly educational, showcasing how structured efforts can significantly impact nutrition and education.
