Independence Day Celebrations

On 16th August 2024, New Era Public School celebrated Independence Day with great enthusiasm. The event began with an instrumental performance by the school's music group, showcasing the rich tradition of Indian classical music through the flute, tabla, and sitar. The soulful melodies set the tone for a patriotic and cultural celebration. Following the performance, the school's founder, Mrs. Usha Chopra, delivered an inspiring speech. She emphasized the importance of independence and encouraged the students to contribute positively to the nation's progress. Her words resonated with the audience, reminding them of the sacrifices made by the freedom fighters and the responsibilities that come with freedom. The Principal, Mrs. Vandana Chawla, then addressed the gathering, highlighting the importance of preserving India's diverse cultural heritage while adapting to modern challenges. She emphasized the need to protect women in society, urging students to respect and safeguard the rights of women, which is essential for the country's overall development. Her speech focused on the role of education in shaping responsible citizens who are aware of their roots and committed to creating a safer and more inclusive society. The event concluded with two vibrant dance performances by the students, which beautifully depicted the cultural diversity of India.
